Ourika Valley

The geographical diversity of Marrakech is amazing, an Oasis on the edge of a desert, is at the same time located at the foothills of the majestic snow-capped Atlas Mountains. The change in scenery is dramatic and be seen from the terraced gardens of the Ourika valley, with its quaint berber villages.
The weekly souk, held every Monday, is a rural market where peasants come all the way down from the mountains to exchange their farm or handicrafts products.
